Forza Azzurri!!

AND WE DID IT!!!

It was a bit shaky in the beginning of the Group Stage matches but Italia pulled together and delivered the do-or-die win necessary to advance to the Quarter Finals of Euro Cup 2008.

I was beginning to miss the Italian National team that I have grown to love…but they definitely showed that the passion, the heart and the voglia to win is still very much there!

The game against Spain should be interesting…with Pirlo and Gattuso out next match I’m curious to see what Donadoni does.

Until then, I’m going to enjoy the win…

    Liz – No doubt everyone I know will be on the edge of their seats watching this game. One of these days I want to be in Italy when the Euro Cup or World Cup is going on…it must be unreal. Things get pretty nuts in Toronto but I’m sure it doesn’t compare to Italy.

    The Spanish team is playing really well. It’s going to be a nail-biter!! I can’t wait to watch the match. My boyfriend said people were running around the streets in Milano going nuts over the win against France. I’ll be watching with my bowl of popcorn! 🙂

    melandroweb – I agree the Netherlands have really stepped up and played very very well. There is no denying that they are the team to beat in this Euro Cup.
