What to pack…

With my trip to Italy a couple weeks away I’m getting a bit stressed out when I start thinking about packing my luggage. I love to travel but I hate to pack!! Packing for any trip big or small is always a challenge for me. I am an over-packer, always worried that I will pack something and when the time comes won’t be in the mood to wear it. Face it ladies, we have to feel good in our clothes, am I right?

I’ve done a bit of travelling over the years but never for more than a week or two. This will be the longest trip I’ve ever taken and the thought of packing for 4 weeks is a bit overwhelming. So, I have started early. No not the actual packing part, but the planning part. I have begun to compose my packing list. My hope is that if I start it early enough I can add to it as things pop in my head and when it comes time to actually pack my luggage I can focus on how to make it all fit and not what am I missing! 🙂

There are a lot of helpful sites on the Internet that can get you started on your Vacation Packing List. It’s a good starting point to get you thinking about what it is you may need for your trip.

Here is a site I have found to be helpful:

Hope you did ok … I am gonna quiz you when you get here!

I’m actually quite proud of myself…I think I did a good job getting together what I need for my trip. I still have to do the actual packing part but I don’t think I’ll need to do any last minute running around to get anything else to take with me…which is good because I’ll be too hyper tomorrow counting the hours until I’m on that plane!!! 🙂

Really don’t take too much with you. It will be soooo hot and you will still maybe be able to take advantage of the summer sales.
Once I went on holiday with nothing. I was meeting my family in Puglia for Easter and had packed my bag so full in London that I took it all out to re-pack…and then got to Puglia and realised most of my clothes were still on my bed.
Thank goodness my little chubby cousin was the same size as me so I stole her clothes!
