Italian Fashion: Carpisa
Carpisa got its start in 1982 and offers a wide range of fashion handbags, suitcases, briefcases, wallets, and fashion accessories. Carpisa opened its very first store in Napoli, which is also where you will find the company’s headquarters. It has since gone on to open over 300 stores throughout Italy and another 20 locations across the globe including Greece, Japan, The UK, and Switzerland.
Just this month there are plans to open up stores in Athens, London, Firenze, and Montenegro. Earlier this year, the summer collection featured a colourful specially designed handbag to save the sea turtles, and a portion from each bag sold was donated to the “Anton Dohrn” zoological station in Napoli and the Manuel Antonio Natural Reserve in Costa Rica. Currently, Carpisa is featuring Federica Pellegrini, Italian swimmer, and Olympic Gold Medalist, for the Fall 2008 advertising campaign.
Carpisa and its turtle logo continue to maintain a strong presence in Italy and the world and with new stores opening up every month there are certainly no signs of stopping for this Italian brand. I highly recommend visiting their shop when you are visiting Italy. You’ll most certainly find them in the shopping district of every city in Italy.

This is my favourite bag company. I have 3 bags so far plus, a make up bag (which I use as a pencil case, as you do) and a phone case. As well as gorgeous bags with shops as easily to find as pizzeria’s in Italy, it’s a turtle logo… I LOVE TURTLES!

The logo is so cute!! 🙂 I was given a Carpisa purse from some family in Italy – it’s a cute small leather purse and it’s perfect for me when I’m hitting the town and don’t want to bring my usual humongous purse. 😛 They have some great wallets too!
