Italian Fashion: Guru
Founded in 1999 by then 22-year-old Matteo Cambi, Guru originally started out as a collection of T-shirts and sweatshirts. You can easily recognize this brand by its distinctive and very simple daisy logo. It didn’t take long for people to take interest in this label selling 200,000 t-shirts in its first summer of production. Since then, the company has evolved and is now distributed throughout Italy and most of Europe, including Germany, Spain, and France. The company is still in its early stages but has big plans to grow its men’s, women’s, and children’s fashion lines. In fact, this year the company launched its new denim collection, INSPIRED DENIM, with a wide array of styles and washes to suit just about everyone’s tastes.
