My Sister’s Bridal Shower
It was a little hectic for a little while. Getting everything organized, leaving no stone unturned, trying my best to make sure everything went smoothly for my sister’s special day. Yesterday came and went, and just like that all the preparations and hard work were behind us. The day was a success. My sister had a wonderful time, the guests seemed to be having fun, and I can honestly look back on the day with no regrets. It was the first time I had ever planned a bridal shower. I have been to showers, I have served at showers, but never actually planned one. I have to admit, at times it was stressful, but overall I enjoyed it. The planning, the creating, the organizing.
Here are some pictures from the bridal shower:
Bomboniere for the guests
Game prizes
Bridal Shower cake…Yum!

Cookies made with love!

January 13, 2009 at 7:45 pmI wish I could take credit for those pictures…most of them were taken by a friend of mine using my camera since I was occupied entertaining guests! ๐ I did take the picture of the bomboniere and the cookie trays though…I’m practicing more and more…I’m inspired by your blog to be a better photographer! ๐

The bomboniere look so professional. You didn’t make the cake too, did you?
And I’d love a drink!
Congratulations to your sister. I’m glad it all went so well thanks to your effort!
