Calabrisella Mia is 10 years old today! Wow!

I’m so thankful for this blog. It has been an outlet for me that has grown and transformed with me. Over the past decade, it has been my personal nook to share my thoughts and experiences.

It has also allowed me to connect with people from all over the world.  It’s been so wonderful getting to socialize with so many of you.  I’ve also made some great friendships that wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for Calabrisella Mia.

My Italian Connection – December 7. 2017

Dolce Vita Bloggers is a monthly link up for content creators who love Italy and all things Italian. This was the first ever topic for the link up and it allowed me to delve deep and share my story of my connection to Italy. I’m so grateful for this link up because it has connected me with a great group of creators who have similar interests but also a uniqueness that I find so inspiring.

What I’ve Learned After 7 Years in Italy – June 17, 2017

It’s surreal looking back on my decision to leave everything I knew behind, to move across the ocean to Italy. I had no plans, no expectations. It was the first time in my life that I did something without fully analyzing every possible outcome. It was one of the scariest things I’ve ever done but it taught me a lot.

One may think, why is a fig tree so important?  Well, this fig tree is a reminder that life can withstand even the hardest of situations. It sprouted from a crack in a wall of an antique building and has grown to full size. It is both majestic and powerful on so many levels.  Thanks to Nilla of Image Earth Travel and Nilla’s Photography, we have a funny story that we can share with friends and family.
