Gossip magazines go above and beyond to tell us what the big shots of Hollywood are up to between projects. It’s not uncommon to see photos of your favourite stars shopping in Paris or sunbathing in Spain. But, what you don’t often here about is the “side jobs” they do to make some extra cash between motion pictures. Italian TV ads are always full of celebrities; whether it’s sports figures like footballer Kaká as the spokesperson for Ringo (a popular Italian cookie with a chocolate or vanilla filling similar to Oreo) or Italian TV Host/Actress Alessia Marcuzzi for Activia yogurt and even Olympic swimmer Federica Pellegrini for ENEL Energy.
There are also many Hollywood stars in Italian commercials doing ad campaigns for Italian-made products.

George Clooney spends a lot of time in Italy. He even owns a villa on Lake Como. Since he spends so much time here, why not do a couple ad spots to pass the time? He can be seen in commercials for Nespresso Coffee and FastWeb Internet. He even shows off some of his Italian language skills in a couple.
Julia Roberts and her angelic look and smile were the perfect combination for the Italian coffee brand Lavazza’s ad campaign.
Antonio Banderas is currently the face of Mulino Bianco – an Italian brand that offers up breakfast and snack treats as well as “American-style” white bread.
