Nutella Chia Pudding ~ World Nutella Day 2026

World Nutella Day is here, and honestly, did anyone expect me not to experiment with a new Nutella recipe?

Nutella Chia Pudding

World Nutella Day is one of those food appreciation days that instantly brings me back to childhood snacks, sneaky spoonfuls straight from the jar (guilty!), and creating something sweet to be shared with loved ones.

Over the years, it’s become a little tradition for me to mark the day by trying a new recipe. This year, I wanted to try something super easy but indulgent enough to satisfy a sweet tooth, so I decided to make a Nutella Chia Pudding.

Wanna give it a try? I’ve got you…

Nutella Day Recipe Chia Pudding

Here’s what you need:

Ingredients:

1 cup milk (your choice)
3 tablespoons chia seeds
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
2 tablespoons Nutella (and a little extra for good luck!)
1 tablespoon maple syrup

Toppings like fresh fruit, Greek yogurt, whipped cream, crushed walnuts, oats…Whatever your heart desires!

Note: This makes two servings.

Here’s what you do:

Grab a jar or bowl and add the milk and maple syrup first. Give it a quick stir to combine.

Spoon in the Nutella and stir slowly. It takes a minute to soften and blend, but be patient; it will come together.

Add the chia seeds and cocoa powder. Stir well until everything is evenly combined and no dry pockets remain.

At this point, you can divide the mixture into smaller servings if you’d like. I actually doubled the recipe and made four servings using short water glasses. Mason jars with lids also work great.

Easy Nutella Recipe

Cover each serving with a lid or plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.

About an hour in, I like to check on them and give each one a gentle stir to see how things are thickening. A couple of mine needed a little extra boost, so I added a few more chia seeds.

Once they’ve chilled for at least 3 hours (overnight is even better), top with your favourite toppings and enjoy.

You can have fun mixing and matching toppings. Fresh fruit, granola, coconut, or an extra drizzle of Nutella are all fair game.

I hope this Nutella Chia Pudding adds a little sweetness to your day!
