Nutella Fudge with Walnuts ~ World Nutella Day 2025

It’s World Nutella Day, and as always, I couldn’t resist trying out another recipe, featuring my favourite hazelnut spread!

Nutella Fudge with Walnuts

Well, that’s kinda funny…

It’s been exactly one year since my last blog post, and—would you believe it? — that post was also for World Nutella Day.

Apparently, the only way to break a blogging hiatus is by sharing my love of chocolate and hazelnuts. But hey, if there’s ever a reason to come out of hibernation, Nutella is it!

Last year, was pretty crazy (to say the least) and I’m really going to make more of an effort to write more on this blog because I really do miss it!

But, for now, let’s kick things off with a delicious recipe that celebrates many people’s favourite chocolate spread. Trust me, this one is not only easy but super delicious!

Are you ready? Alright, let’s do this…

Here’s what you need:

Ingredients:
326 grams milk chocolate chips – I used regular chocolate and broke it up into small pieces
1/2 cup Nutella
14oz sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup finely chopped walnuts (1/2 cup to mix into your fudge batter, and the rest to go on top)

You will also need an 8X8 cm baking/cake pan.

Here’s what you do:

Before you begin, I would recommend prepping your baking pan. The recipe calls for an 8X8 pan which you should line with parchment paper. I didn’t have an 8×8 pan, but I did have a small aluminum tray which ended up working perfectly.

Ok, now let’s get to the fudge!

First, measure out all of your ingredients carefully. Put all of the ingredients (except for the finely chopped walnuts) into a pan and mix all the ingredients over low heat. Stir consistently using a silicone spatula so the chocolate melts evenly and doesn’t stick to the bottom. Once all the chocolate has melted, you are ready for the walnuts.

Stir the chopped walnuts into the mixture and remove the fudge from the heat.

Pour the mixture into your baking tray and smooth it out as evenly a possible with your silicone spatula.

Sprinke the remaining crushed walnuts onto your fudge mixture and then place it in the fridge for about 4 hours. When putting the fudge in the fridge, don’t cover it.

After the 4 hours, you can take it out and cut it up into bite-sized squares. The fudge should be stored in an air-tight container and kept in the fridge.

I guarantee that this fudge won’t last long, but whatever you do, make sure you eat it all within 7-10 days (I’m sure that won’t be difficult! haha).

And there you have it amici, easy delectable fudge that everyone will absolutely love!

Let me know if you try this recipe, and don’t forget to check out some other Nutella-inspired recipes I’ve featured on my blog for World Nutella Day in the past:
